Online Revealed Canada, the Online Marketing Conference for Travel Industry professionals has grown rapidly because of its hands on approach to learning.
The first conference in Ottawa held in 2006 drew more than 180 attendees. In May of 2007, Online Revealed Canada rotated the show to Toronto to reach further into the market. Over 200 attendees spent two days learning about concepts including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Content Syndication, Web 2.0, Revenue Management and many more topics, with 15 workshop rotations and numerous keynote speeches and panels.
The Online Revealed Canada, Internet Marketing Conference held May 2008 in Calgary, Alberta hosted over 230 of Canada’s leading tourism professionals including Destination Marketing Organizations, Hotel Brands, Tourism Associations, Search Engines, Technology Companies and Tourism Marketing experts. Over the two day event, 16 workshops, 3 panel discussions and 3 keynote presentations addressed critical issues influencing tourism in Canada with content presented by tourism professionals and internet marketing experts in a non-intimidating, interactive and fun atmosphere.
In September of 2008 Online Revealed made its way to San Juan, Puerto Rico for the first Online Revealed Caribbean Conference. 2009 saw Online Revealed hosted in Niagara Falls with over 300 attendees and high profile internet marketing experts from Google and TripAdvisor elevating the conference to new heights.
2010 Online Revealed Canada celebrated its 5th anniversary in Montreal with over 250 industry Professionals attending. In just 5 years Online Revealed Canada and A Couple of Chicks have produced 6 Conferences and 6 road shows educating over 1,200 industry professionals by providing over 90 workshops and presentations.
In 2011, Online Revealed Canada was held in conjunction with the Hotel Association of Canada’s Annual Conference and the Canadian Tourism Marketing Summit, merging to become The Powerhouse Week held at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. Over 500 people registered for the 3-day event, with over 60 exhibitors, and 36 educational sessions. The Canadian e-Tourism Awards Luncheon, sponsored by Google was a feature of Online Revealed Canada celebrating and honouring the best of online tourism companies and organizations.
The Online Revealed Canada & Caribbean Conferences offer a forum with a unique approach to the ever-changing online marketplace and what it means to hospitality suppliers, vendors, hotel groups, individual hotels, tourism operators, travel intermediaries, agencies and other Travel Professionals.
